Compatible with iOS 7, 8 and 9 and nearly all applications that play audio.
Feedback enables sound effects when controlling audio playback remotely on iOS - e.g. from the control-center, lockscreen and several other devices. These sound effects help notify the user as to whether the relevant buttons have successfully been pressed - this can be helpful in several situations - for instance, when playing audio in noisy environments, when playing low-volume or silent tracks or when quickly tapping controls.
Simple, short and unique sound effects are utilized for different commands, such as for moving to the previous track, toggling playback, skipping to the next track, fast forwarding and rewinding using the various media controls buttons.
As well as integrating with the Control Center and lock-screen, Feedback also integrates directly with Activator-driven track changing (whether the device is locked or unlocked) and essentially all third-party Cydia Substrate extensions, including but not limited to: Acapella, Auxo, Auxo LE, Convergance, MiniPlayer and Spin.
Feedback also fully integrates with the functionality of Seeker - I suggest using both together for the best experience.
In addition to the above features, a number of options for customization are offered, as follows:
• Integration with AirPlay;
• Forcing feedback to only play when headphones are connected;
• Haptic feedback in addition to the existing audio feedback;
• Snoozing feedback for selected applications;
• The ability to modify the default feedback sound effects to effects of your choice (with your own .WAV files)
The basic Settings panel is illustrated in the screenshots below. A Help toggle is implemented which may be used to provide further information regarding each setting.
