Resume enables your music to continue playing after respringing your device whilst music is playing.
Resume is fast and picks up right where the track left off. Resume offers complete support for the Music and Podcasts apps (as well as App Store players that play directly from the stock Music library such as Ecoute). Support for these apps integrates with AirPlay.
Resume also offers experimental support for a plethora of third-party players, including Spotify, Pandora and TuneIn Radio. Other players including Beats Music and Rdio are partially supported (Resume will initiate at the beginning of the track).
Support for these various additional stream-based players require some music to have been cached, so please ensure that you have been playing for a while before respringing.
Resume also works when the device is recovered from safe mode following a crash.
Resume may support other players, you'll have to try and see! Players that you don't wish to resume can be optionally snoozed.
