shadowsocks-libev is a lightweight secure SOCKS5 proxy for embedded devices and low-end boxes.
It is a libev port of the python version of shadowsocks created by @clowwindy.
It is maintained by @madeye and @linusyang.

Another package(com.linusyang.shadowsocks) also includes a build of shadowsocks-libev but it is extremely outdated. It doesn't support the cipher chacha20, for example.
This package is and only is the original shadowsocks-libev. It doesn't provide any extra goods such as GUI like the other package mentioned above does.
