It hides the battery icon; only when your device is charging it shows a little lightning icon (similar to the tweak "Bolt"). In addition the stock cellular signal icon is replaced with the one found in iOS7, but slightly adjusted to fit the pre-iOS7 design.
Tested on iOS 5 & 6 and only on 3,5" devices. May also work with other iOS versions and on iPads.
