CustomBrightness is a replacement for the default auto brightness feature of iOS. It allows you to specify the display backlight level of the iDevice for the current ambient light. The app always runs in the background and adjusts the display brightness as the ambient light changes.

Not compatible with iPod Touch 5th generation.

Configuration app on home screen.

CustomBrightness is designed to replace auto brightness of iOS. So iOS auto brightness must be disabled for CustomBrightness to work properly.

- Added a Flipswitch to toggle CustomBrightness on/off

- Manual override: temporarily disables CustomBrightness when you manually change the brightness from Control Center/Settings

- You can now set a threshold value for the minimum change in ambient light after which brightness is adjusted

- Linear adjustment: CustomBrightness calculates intermediate brightness values for smaller changes in ambient light based on your settings

- You can now adjust the polling interval of the ambient light sensor

- Power optimisations: CustomBrightness will stop polling the sensor and will not consume the CPU if it is disabled or the device display is powered off. Also, processing and brightness calculations are only done when the change in the ambient light is more than the set threshold.
