Locate application icon from Spotlight.
The searched icon can be in any place, including home screen, Dock, folder and folder in folder.
Open Spotlight, search for an application, then long press on the application entry in the result list. The Spotlight will automatically closed and the page containing application's icon will be presented to you.
This tweak can help you quickly find the location of the icon so that you can delete or move the icon.
