Lyrics is an ultra-lightweight, ultra-fast lyrics-fetcher for the command-line. Originally intended to be "just" a part of FFaac, Lyrics now comes as a stand-alone utility for your convenience.
That's how easy it is:
1.Open your terminal or SSH to your device
2.Type "lyrics" without quotes
3.Enter artist name and songtitle
4.You'll have the lyrics on your screen within seconds!
For later use, your lyrics are saved in "/var/mobile/Media/My Lyrics/". Lyrics will never download something twice, to save you data and time!
This, of course, requires a valid data connection (3G/EDGE/GPRS/WLAN), I'm not responsible for additional charges, that may apply. Lyrics needs about 70kb of your data per fetch, so you won't get poor, even if you don't have a data plan.
I do not own the copyright to any of these artists, songs, lyrics and whatever. Use at your own risk and expense :)
This will not add icons to your homescreen. This is a command-line utility for using from SSH or MobileTerminal
