Message Id replaces unknown numbers in your Messages app with the names of well known services. It does this all without adding any contacts to your address book! For example, when receiving a two-factor authentication code from Google, the message will actually be from Google instead of a random number. Just a simple tweak that improves the user experience of the default Messages app.
