MesageRenamer allows you to easily change the name of any conversation in your messages app (both BiteSMS and stock!), useful if you want to change a group chat's list of names to something a bit more descriptive. Tap and hold to reveal the pop-up menu. "Rename" allows you to change the conversation name, "Reset" restores the changed name to it's original value, and "Cancel" closes the pop up.

For BiteSMS users

Due to the default BiteSMS behavior of "hold to mute" I had to redesign the UI. In the stock messages app the controls remain the same, but in BiteSMS you must first enter edit mode then hold on the conversation you want to change. From here an alert will pop up with a text field for you to enter the new name in as well as two buttons. The first - "Reset" - will restore the name to it's default value, the second - "Set" - will set the conversation name to the one typed into the text field. Changes are synced across both the stock app and BiteSMS so feel free to use the app at either location.
